We came across some viral photos of a couple who celebrated their matrimony while also walking all over some of their wedding guests who laid on the floor. Couples have been known to get creative during their wedding ceremonies, mostly as a means of ‘standing out’ or throwing a ‘one in town’ celebration. These couple in the photos below however, took things to another level when they walked over their wedding guests. At what appears to be their wedding reception, the guests laid down on the floor of the venue, while the bride and groom climbed onto and walked all over them.

Over 22,000 Cultists Surrender Arms To The NPF

Some repentant cultists have surrendered dangerous arms and weapons in Rivers State in the amnesty programme. Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers said on Monday that the State’s amnesty programme witnessed 22, 430 repentant cultists surrendered 911 assorted arms to the amnesty Committee, New Telegraph has reported. The revelation was made by the Governor at a Town Hall meeting and accountability Forum to mark his administration’s second year anniversary in Port Harcourt. He stated that the amnesty programme had reduced cult related violence and other criminal activities in the state. The governor noted that the programme had also resulted in surrendering 7,661 assorted ammunitions and 147 explosives by the repentant cultists. Wike stressed that his administration had provided over 150 patrol vans to the security agencies to fight crime in the state. FUTA Set To Launch First Ever Satelite University Satelite

The Federal University of Technology, Akure, announced on Tuesday that it would on Thursday launch a satellite into space in partnership with other local and international organisations and countries. The university said the satellite belonged to Japan, Ghana, Mongolia, Nigeria and Bangladesh, and would be launched into Space from Kennedy Space Centre in Florida, USA. “It is the first ever university satellite to be launched in Nigeria,” a statement by the university stated. Police Say They Wont Negotiate With Abductors Of Students In the wake of the alleged N1 billion ransom demanded by abductors of six students from Igbonla Model School, near Epe, Lagos, the Lagos State Police Command has said it would “not negotiate with the kidnappers.” The police spokesperson, Olarinde Famous-Cole, told PREMIUM TIMES on Monday that “it is the statutory responsibility of the police to keep the children safe, which is paramount and that’s what we are concerned about.” The Punch newspaper had reported that parents of the children were contacted on Saturday and allowed to briefly speak with their children. They also stated that while two of the parents were asked to pay N400 million each, another two were told to raise N100 million per child. University Of Ibadan Shut Over Students Protest Authorities of the University of Ibadan (UI) have closed down the school, following students’ protest. The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Idowu Olayinka, said the closure was as a result of protest by students and to prevent a breakdown of law and order. Undergraduates were ordered to vacate campus latest by 6pmyesterday. The institution had fixed the first semester examination for June, but it will now begin on July 17.The vice chancellor said postgraduate students can continue with their lectures. The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Suleiman Kazaure, said on Monday that the scheme would soon begin posting of corps members to farms. Mr. Kazaure said this in an interview with journalists during his official visit to the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Sagamu, Ogun State. He said that the move to deploy corps members in farms as in line with the agricultural development programme of the NYSC. According to him, the NYSC has concluded preparations to begin the posting at the conclusion of the three-week orientation exercise.
