Exclusive Interview With The CEO Of Entrepreneurship Alive.
At first we had our doubts about this programme, thats why we at J.O.B took our time to go interview the CEO of this new and has I see it, a successful entrepreneurial programme which goal is to give Nigerians, especially students self empowerment, we decided to bring the interview live on our prestigious blog, to show you people what you are about investing your hard earned money on, and sincerely, for me, it is a very good investment. J.O.B Correspondent: Good evening sir, my name is Aroyeun Jhubril, pka Jaybee, may I know yours?
EA CEO:I am Babayemi Opeyemi
A student of Federal University Of Agricultute Abeokuta(FUNAAB), accounting department 300level
J.O.B Correspondent: Heard about your programme, but for those that are not inclined with it, would you like to explain some few points to us
EA CEO:Thank you sir.
Entrepreneurship alive programme is a vocational training borne out of passion to impact. It is one of my agenda in the Federal University Of Agricultute Abeokuta (FUNAAB). When I was the AGS of the College Of Management Science(Colmassa), I and the general secretary opined that it should be done but due to some issues we could not.
Since then, my brand and an association called Young scholars club came together to organize the programme.
J.O.B Correspondent: What actually inspired you into initiating this programme
EA CEO:The rate of unemployment in the country and the turnout if jobless youths in the country. The inspiration came when a masters holder came for a job interview at a place I used to work and was offered #10,000 something you can get within 2hours as an entrepreneur
J.O.B Correspondent:Thats a nice one
EA CEO: Many thanks sir
J.O.B CEO: But sir, don't you think the price is to high for students to pay? I mean looking at the economy, N20,000 is not an easy money to come by this day's
EA CEO: Taught about it also, but that is the thorn in the flesh.
The price is reasonable okay for the programme.
Going by the plan, the programme is to cover the whole session which is a minimum of 28 weeks. The programme is 100% practical in which we are bringing in professionals in each vocation (these people will be paid) in other to get value for the price, we are liaising with external bodies in each vocation in order to make the certificate more tenable . for example, we are liaising with dominos pizzas for the baking aspect.
We urge our participants to just take the pain to participate and we pray that God will provide for them.
J.O.B Correspondent: I do love your idea's, though I hope lot of Nigerians do increase their range of thinking to also bring up something like this
EA CEO: I Appreciate the comment sir.
J.O.B Correspondent:Any advice for those out there out there with the mindset of " Without Education you can't succeed "
EA CEO:Hmmmmm, I won't want to rubbish education totally but, education nowadays is just needed to argument your skills and ideas. It will only make you stand out among other entrepreneurs .
You can succeed without education. 100% tested and trusted..
If I quit education today, I will succeed in life
J.O.B Correspondent: A word of advice to people who look up to you before we call it a day sir?
EA CEO:Be yourself and do not let anybody discourage you even your pastor because, your success lies in that discouragement
J.O.B Correspondent: Its been nice having you around sir, we do hope to see more of you.
